Todd Stevens is the co-founder of Expanded Books. Prior to founding Expanded Books Todd was co-executive producer on the Emmy Award-winning show, Friends. He was with this NBC powerhouse since 1994, beginning as the show's line producer for the pilot episode. Prior to Friends, Todd was the producer of the successful and long-running CBS series Major Dad as well as numerous series. Todd served as associate producer for various network series such as Sydney starring Valerie Bertinelli, Mary starring Mary Tyler Moore and the Cheers spin-off The Tortellis. Todd was also the post production coordinator for Cheers from 1983 to 1984.
From 1993 to 1995, while continuing to be a major part of Friends' success, Todd, along with several partners, created and executive produced the Worldwide Weird specials and interstitial series for the Sci Fi Channel, as well as Warped in Space, a comedy space adventure pilot. These shows were preceded by a previous series Todd produced for the Sci Fi Channel in 1994 called Mysteries From Beyond The Other Dominion.
Todd is a veteran web producer, having begun producing and distributing original content through MSN Video in 2002, with the first channel he launched, Weird TV. Since then, Todd has supplied more than 400 videos made exclusively for the web to MSN and Yahoo! and many other portals. These videos have garnered more than 5 million streams in total.
Todd has a Bachelor's Degree of Fine Arts in Film and Television from the prestigious California Institute of the Arts. Todd has also lectured about both television production and entrepreneurialism at various universities at home as well as abroad.
Skye is the co-founder of Expanded Books. Before starting the company, she worked at Warner Bros. Worldwide Publishing for nine years producing film and television tie-in books for the studio. She has collaborated with nearly every major U.S. publishing house on tie-in books and some of her most successful, high visibility titles, include the following: Friends...'Til the End, the best selling coffee table book published in May 2004 that celebrated all ten years of the Emmy award-winning show, The Last Samurai companion book, published in November 2003, The West Wing, published in 2001, and The Art of the Matrix, published in 2000. Skye produced books in a variety of formats, including novelizations, coffee table books, script books, and episode guides.
In addition, she produced and developed hundreds of children's books based on Warner Bros.'s premier properties such as Harry Potter, The Looney Tunes, Tom & Jerry, The Flintstones, Yogi Bear, and The Jetsons.
Skye graduated Magna Cum Laude from Brown University and also attended the London School of Economics.
